Healthy Salad Recipe Collection

Salads are deceiving, here are some healthy salad recipe

This is my healthy salad recipe collection. Salads are supposed to be the ultimate of health foods, right? Think again! Did you know that at just about any given fast food restaurant, the salads have just as many or more calories as the hamburgers do? How is that even possible?! If you don't believe me, go check out the nutrition facts right now on the fast food websites (make sure you check the dressing, too. It's conveniently hidden in a separate place).

Salads are incredibly deceiving because restaurants dress them up in gobs of sugar, fat, and candied nuts. The dressing you put on seriously skyrockets your caloric intake. So what are we supposed to do, eat plain, raw veggies without dressing? Well, sorry to say, that's the healthiest way to eat your veggies. But it doesn't mean they have to taste like dirt. There are plenty of ways to keep your fresh veggies healthy AND enjoyable. In each recipe below, you'll be able to enjoy your vegetables without drenching them in sugar and chemicals.

Fresh salads are also beneficial to the health of your liver, which is meant to be a major fat-burning machine. But if you're an American, there's a really good chance your liver needs a tune-up. To learn more about your fat-burning liver, I recommend the LiverGuru.
