My Favorite Healthy Breakfast Recipes

Before I get into my totally healthy breakfast recipes, what does the word "breakfast" mean to you? For many, it means sugary syrup over refined carbs and fried meat. But your "breakfast" is meant to do only what it says: to break your fast. While you're not eating for the 12+ hours between dinner and breakfast, your body gets a much needed break from processing everything you fed it the day before. It's not called the most important meal of the day for nothing. Breakfast is MEANT to do this:

~Increase your metabolic rate
~Sets the metabolic speed for the rest of the day
~Fuels your body with needed nutrients so it can burn off lunch instead of hold onto it and try to store it
...among other things

I'm sure you can see how, if you're eating pure sugar, salt and fat each morning, your breakfast will be working against you instead of for you.

Another thing you can do to ensure you start your day right is to include plenty of fiber at breakfast. By using my recipes, you'll naturally get a good amount of fiber, especially if you have one of my smoothies for breakfast. If you'd like to learn more about the importance of fiber in your diet, I highly recommend you visit the Fiber Foods Coach.

This is my collection of favorite breakfast recipes. My family enjoys them, even though they're healthy, and I hope you do too!
