I'm a nutrition geek and whole foods enthusiast. But I wasn't always this way...Like many people, I struggled for years trying to eat healthy, while still living in the real world where everyone eats at restaurants in which free, bottomless fries and chips are placed in front of you before you even order. How can you resist that!? I didn't. Not for years. And my body and mind suffered because of it. It's been a long road. Along the way, I discovered some no-brainer tips to keep from crashing and burning. By "no-brainer" I don't mean you should have thought of them already. I mean that they're easier than you think, and I believe they can help anyone, no matter what level you're currently at. Nowadays, I eat almost 100% whole foods, and about 60-70% of them are raw. I do this every day, as a full time working mom with NO extra time. My kids eat this way, too, usually without complaints. I don't say this to brag. My hope is that it will give you hope. This is possible. You can feel better emotionally and physically, avoid as much disease and illness as possible, and have the peace of mind that your children will grow up enjoying excellent eating habits that will keep them healthy throughout their life.
