What's THR's 30 Day Challenge All About?
Join me and other Totally Healthy members to makeover your nutrition, your exercise and your MINDSET. Each day, receive an email from me, with the information and motivation you need to carry on and stay committed to yourself and your goals.
 Have you been trying to make healthy changes without a buddy or a support community? Of course it’s possible... but why make it so hard on yourself?! Being accountable to others--even if you don’t know them in person--is a powerful way to solidify your goals. When you promise not only yourself, but your family, and the rest of the participants in this challenge, that you will stick with your goal for 30 days, your chances of success go up exponentially. Let’s do it together!

This is a health makeover, and if that means weight loss for you, you can definitely lose weight during this challenge. If you spend your days exhausted, overwhelmed, depressed, with indigestion problems, or even more serious health problems, changing the way you eat for 30 days will ABSOLUTELY increase your energy and your well-being, and decrease your yucky symptoms like constipation, IBS, acid reflux, and even skin problems.
 For this challenge, you may follow any eating plan you wish. However, from a nutritional standpoint, I strongly suggest your diet is made up of real food. Don't rely on 5 pre-packaged meals per day or calorie/point counting alone. Make sure you’re also FEEDING the cells in your body with the nutrients they need.
If your BMI is over 30, and you’re looking for an eating program to lose weight quickly but healthfully, I can recommend a program that I feel is hands down the best for fighting obesity, and can work right alongside this challenge.
Or, Follow My Eating Plan A 100% whole foods diet, with at least 50% of that being raw, live food.
“Whole foods” are defined as anything that grew from the ground or had a mother. Nothing processed. No artificial ingredients.
“Raw food” is defined as a plant based food that is uncooked: fruits, veggies, beans, legumes, nuts and seeds.
At first it sounds like a lot of work and even more will power. But trust me. I’m a full time working mom who also runs an (awesome) website on the side. I don’t have time to bother spending hours in the kitchen every day! I’ll be sharing at least 1 recipe per day, in addition to the 50+ recipes already on TotallyHealthyRecipes.com. You’ll have PLENTY of delicious, easy, fast meals at your disposal.
 You’ll just have to slightly redefine that term for yourself. Mother Nature’s “drive-thru” is even faster than McDonald’s. I’ll share lots of snacks and quick meals that you can grab and go, or make in under 5 minutes.
You’ll come to rely on my quick, homemade SMOOTHIES, which are incredibly filling and delicious, and will definitely ensure you get at LEAST the minimum amount of fruit and veggies every day. Yes, I said veggies! Veggies in a smoothie! I’ll teach you how to hide the most nutrient-packed veggies in a smoothie and LOVE it. Perfect for those who hate the taste of veggies.
 Work at your own level. If you would like some suggestions on different programs, feel free to ask. I've tried a ridiculous amount of programs before finding a handful that I really love.
Or, Follow My Exercise Plan I’ll tell you all about the exercise program I'll be following, and why I feel it's the best "bang" for your time (and your dollar). It's important that your workout is FUN, otherwise you probably won't stick with it. The goal here is that you MIGHT just forget you're working out.
 I have us all set up and ready to challenge and support each other at my free "Totally Healthy Fitness" online portal. You can...- Log and track your workouts
- Schedule group workouts where we all check in and be accountable to each other
- Make new friends in the “Totally Healthy” community.
 The entire group will be sharing tips, recipes and motivation. Pay it forward and participate! Give feedback. Share a success or a great day. Share a struggle. Keep it real! Your stories and tips may truly help someone who might otherwise not stick with us to the end... just as well, you might be that person who greatly benefits from someone else’s input!
 You’ll be surprised to find what a great help it is to be accountable to the group of people in this challenge. But you’ll be even more likely to stick to your goals if you invite someone you know personally to join you in this challenge. It’s fun to have a friend to check in with every day in addition to the THR community, and will increase your probability of reaching your goals.
